Joanna Wolfe CISA, CGEIT is a self-starting, top-producing, IT and Internet professional with 15+years experience in Web and E-commerce, Information Security, IT Audit and Risk Assessment, Service Delivery, Large-Scale IT Projects and Implementations, Data Centers and Networks, in media, health care, non-profit, and other organizational verticals.
As Director of Information & Integrated Media for TechMedia, Joanna is immersed daily in the disruptive technology effecting today's IT landscape. Additionally, Joanna regularly consults and speaks on the effects of Digital & New Media and Disruptive Technology on workplace information security and compliance.
Previously, as a Senior Security Analyst for CynergisTek, Joanna preformed Risk Assessments and Audits for heathcare systems throughout the US. Additionally, she was Interim Security Manager for a major healthcare system where she helped to develop and shape the Security Practice. She also implemented remediation measures to increase security and compliance with local and national guidelines.
At Oxford University Press, she was the lead architect of their IT infrastructure for new corporate office builds, including the implementation of leading edge network security. She managed and led the building of OUP’s first public website and e-commerce system.
As a regular early adopter of new technology she has a healthy respect for the challenges faced on both sides of the IT Audit table. She is skilled identifying opportunities, creating roadmaps, executing plans of action and delivering successes.
Joanna is an active member of the ISACA Research Triangle Chapter. She is a graduate of Denison University in Granville, OH.
