Mental health problems have the potential to negatively impact employees’ productivity and the overall morale of an organization.
Stress, depression, anxiety and other mental health concerns contribute to increased absenteeism, lateness, and an employee’s overall drive to do well and succeed in a company. Additionally, organizations are now confronted with post-COVID concerns and other pandemic related challenges, such as remote work, transitioning back from remote work, and employees who may be experiencing symptoms related to Long COVID, including those that directly impact mental health and wellness. Organizations and Human Resource (HR) professionals will need to address mental health problems in the workplace in order to retain good employees and to keep company morale high and workplaces productive. This webinar will explore strategies that HR professionals can employ to retain employees with mental health problems and to create a work environment that provides support and assistance to help the employee realize their potential and be productive workers. Webinar attendees will identify the consequences of mental health conditions in the workplace and the strategies and resources to support employees’ mental health and wellness.
