In this webinar we will discuss the most recent CPT changes as well as review past CPT updates to commonly performed pain management services, Also we will discuss HCPCS codes and how to best find the medication we are looking for.


Every year coders have a great deal of information to absorb.Missing a coding update can increase or decrease your revenue.

Many times, the changes can be minute and easily confused when quickly reviewing the codes on an annual basis. New codes in 2018 codes spoke to imaging guidance for our epidural injection codes.

2019 brings us revisions to the neuromodulation programming codes and changes to the Myalgia diagnosis code.

We will also discuss the potential addition of codes for 2020 including new codes for genicular nerve diagnostic blocks and destruction, injection and destruction of SI Joint and dry needling codes.

Amy Turner, RN, BSN, MMHC, CPC is the director of billing compliance and business development for CE Medical Group. She holds a bachelor of science in nursing and master of healthcare management from Vanderbilt University in Nashville. Amy's unique combination of clinical experience and coding and billing offers insights that speak well to both the clinician and the billing and coding expert.

Amy has 18 years of pain management experience, working in both small and large private practice environments as well as in academics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Further, her experience includes working with hospital based providers and ambulatory surgery centers.
